PSM Unpad won the Gran Premio Citta d’Arezzo.

Padjadjaran University Student Choir (Unpad Choir) is a student organization that has been established since 1978. With 150 active members from various disciplines, Unpad Choir is one of the student activity units that has an important role in protocol and ceremonial activities in Padjadjaran University environment.

Within the scope of the university, Unpad Choir is known as the largest and best student activity unit in Padjadjaran University which has strong organizational management. This can be proven through various awards given by Padjadjaran University to Unpad Choir, including as the “Best Student Activity Unit” of the 2012 and 2013 Padjadjaran University Anniversary, “UKM with the Best Art Category” in the 2012, 2013 Unpad Awards, and 2015, and UKM Achievement in 2017 Padjadjaran University’s Achievement Awards.

In 2019, Unpad Choir won in the 67th Concorso Internazionale Polifonico Guido d’Arezzo, Italy, including Grand Premio Citta d’Arezzo, 1st Winner of Sacred Music Category II, 2nd Winner of Monographic Program Category IV, 3rd Winner of Compulsory Category in Mixed Choir Section, Public Prize for International Folksong Category VI, Special Prize of Best Performance for Living Italian Composer, Specal Prize of Best Interpretation for Contemporary Piece from Pietro Ferrarrio “Ubi Caritas” and became the first Student Choir to proceed to the European Grand Prix ​​for Choral Singing 2020 in Debrecen, Hungary.

In its existence in the choir world, Unpad Choir won various national and international competitions. Unpad Choir also continues to improve its performance as one of the best choirs in Indonesia. Thanks to its reputation, Unpad Choir has been entrusted to fill a variety of ceremonial and large entertainment events in collaboration with various agencies and also musicians, both nationally and internationally
